I miss the Rainbow Dash color theme (& the princess themes to a lesser extent).

The different color every paragraph made reading much easier for me.

In the 'new story' checklist, right under a new paragraph called 'feedback.' One checkbox each for 'comments,' and 'ratings,' letting you disable both if you so wish.

At first I must admit my jaw hit the floor, thinking: 'This must be a bad prank. Did somebody sabotage Knighty's calendar, or something?'

What were you doing before the site crashed?

I think was in the middle of checking my notifications.. then boom, the site went down. I also think the site crash caused less traffic for my new story.

Well, Site-16 is now longer cancelled. I have gone through the story itself and fixed all of the issues I had with the story, including the dossiers. I have also developed a fairly good sketch of future events leading up to my planned ending, courtesy of the card holder. I say I have enough details to finish this story hammered out, even though there are a few spots that inevitably require some touch ups.

Having gotten the latest chapter of "The Blue and the Gray" out and into the world, I find myself turning once again to my other active story, "Danger Close". I'm thinking that I can make some progress on that over the next couple of weeks, having finally gotten a critical character a bit more sorted out. So I spend the day at work, saw the image knighty posted as a message up there, and laughed at it. I get home, having forgotten about it, and get to my user page. I almost jumped when I see the picture again. I was so zoned out, it spooked me.

I'll admit, though. It IS funny.

First blog post so I guess you could assume something is heckin wrong or heckin good. And it's most certainly not bad. Fimfiction is honestly the only place I interact with fandom content besides derpiburo, but it always looked so ... Bland. As front end designer I salute you faceless unpaid intern who gave the site this amazing face lift. Text is better, formatting cleaner! I only use the site on mobile but I love it!

Am I the only one who thinks Fanfiction.net's system is horrendously flawed and/or outdated?
I wouldn't really think much of it, but I've been using AO3 a lot more recently, and when compared to that, it's utter shit. And then Fimfic is even better - all hail to our lord and saviour knighty, never seen a better system for a website like this, even if it is not perfect.

No, but seriously, why is Fanfiction so awkward to use? It feels like it's from 2006!

Can anyone of my followers recommend a site where I can post fanfictions that aren't pony related? It would have to have a setup similar to this site, with a clear favoring, commenting, and following system. I've tried both Fanfiction.net and Wattpad, but with Fanfiction nothing was clear enough, and I don't feel that Wattpad is the right audience for a Fallout or Skyrim fanfiction.

I know this comes from nowhere, but it's a feature I've hoped for a long while (and submitted a suggestion for). I figure, maybe I can get people spreading the idea around and have it actually become a thing that way:
